Hi!

Welcome to my DIY audio forum. The forum SW has been reset and unfortunately there were some problems with backup files so a few posts were lost, nothing important though.

Hi P-A,

I would like to install your DCT01 DC trap in a power amp that I am building.
On the PCB there are indications for Phase In and Phase Out as well as (unconnected) pads for Neutral and Protective Earth.
As the Phase and Neutral lines will depend on how I plug in the power cord my question is simply if the circuit will work just as well both ways around or if I do have to connect the phase wire?
Will 50V 10.000uF caps be fine?
Thanks,
Nic

Phase is one of the wires, and Neutral is the other one. It doesn't matter which one is which.

10000 uF 50 V is fine but min requirement is 16 V.
