Hi!

Welcome to my DIY audio forum. The forum SW has been reset and unfortunately there were some problems with backup files so a few posts were lost, nothing important though.

Hi,

yesterday I bought 3 PCBs (SSR-01 and SSR-02) to tune up the digital section of my Sony XA-50.  +7V, -7V, +5V
It only will be used as a drive with SPDIF-Out
So I have not to tune up the analog section.
Now it would be nice to get the BOMs for the +7V LM431  and the -7V LM431.
I have only 10 â€" 11V at the input of the PCB. Probably I will not use a pre-regulator (LM317 /LM337)
I think I have to use the LM431 and not the LM329. The LM423 has a smaller reference voltage and this will be needed for the small output voltages of the regulator.

Thank you for your help!

peranders

You have got BOM:s for the wanted voltages and I will publish them later.

Hi Per-Anders,

yes I got the BOM´s from you. Thank you for all!!
You are really very fast.
I will test it , as soon as I get the 3 PCBs from you.
Have you already shipped it?

peranders

Yes, the pcb's are shipped. I maybe forgot to send you a message about it.

Yes I got the pcb´s today! :-)

Hi Per-Anders,

you have calculated the BOMs for +7V and -7V
Now my 3 super regulators a ready and I can give you a very positive feedback.

The measured voltages are +6,994V , -7,004V and +4,972V  (with or without resistor load).
Now you can update your download section with the +7V LM431 and -7V LM431 BOM´s.
The noise level of the super regulator measured with the oscilloscope is fantastic.
You have made a good job!!

peranders

Nice results I must say!

I don't mind a short review later on also pictures.
