Title: RFB03 question
Post by: framos on February 19, 2012, 09:56:13 PM
HI.  Can I use an RFB03 to replace a KBU4g in an existing power supply?  Just run short wires from RFB03 to existing solder pads for KBU4G in power supply board?  If I can, what diodes can I use (MUR3040)?  Thanks in advance.

MUR3040 won't fit, the wrong pinning. You can use a TO220 2-pin diode or a TO218/247 3-pin diode.

Thanks.  Another question: what is the difference between the RFB02 and the RFB03?

4-layer board
Gold on pads
No groundplane under the heatsinks
Looks nicer
