Title: Jsr03 minimum load ?
Post by: galouche on August 09, 2007, 10:18:13 PM

Hi,

I've seen on a french board that to work corectly, a minimum load of 200 mA is required ? I was hoping to use it for a clock ( 10 mA ) ...

  If it's true I'll have to put a resistor in // ...  :-)

The external minimum current is zero. You have already a load through the opamp, the reference and the feedback network.

He've answered me, here's the link :

and the sentence :http://tangentsoft.net/elec/opamp-linreg.html (http://tangentsoft.net/elec/opamp-linreg.html)

QuoteThe D44H11's minimum hFE is 60, so the minimum current from this configuration is about 330mA

The BD139 is a little bit less.

The meaning of this is load current and you can take out at least 330 mA.
