SPS01 Ultra high performance power supply

This PSU is inspired by Jan Dupont

Specifications:

PCB material
FR4, 95 um copper (2.7 oz), 1.6 mm (0.063") or 2 mm (0.079"), doublesided with copperplanes

Indicators
Resistor and LED on board for each rail. Blue LED is chosen.

Connectors
Connection points for AC and DC should be screwdriver terminals. Heavy duty Phoenix connectors are chosen. Regular spade connectors will also fit.

Big caps
40 mm heavy duty snap-in caps will fit which will give us 60000 uF /63 V if BHC is chosen. Regular 10 mm snap-in will also fit.

Smaller caps
Decoupling caps are heavy duty RIFA PHE450 polyprop but smaller caps will fit since there are holes down to 200 mil pitch.

External inductor
Terminals for off board inductors. On board there are place for 7-9 W resistors.

Bleeder
Pads for 7-9 watt bleeder resistor to ground for each rail.

Rectifier bridges
Two separate rectifier bridges made of TO247 double diodes or TO220 single diodes. Heatsinks for each diode. Snubbers across them. Snubber caps consists of PHE450 heavy duty.

Mounting
2 mm material. Sufficiently many screwholes.

Fuses
Fuseholders for both regular 5 x 20 mm and as an alternative you mount an another type which fit both 5 x 20 mm and 6 x 32 mm.
