Phono MC preamp with S/PDIF output
« on: May 18, 2008, 04:11:21 PM »

I want to keep my audio path in the digital domain as far as possible, and would thus like to create a MC-phono amp with integrated 24/96 or 24/192 ADC and S/PDIF or HDMI digital output.

Do you have a suggested high quality ADC-chip and design to match your RIAA amps?

Regards, Kenneth

It has been a while since I did investigate the market so I can't really recommend any special ADC but AKM, Analog Devices and Cirrus are market leaders and I'll guess Cirrus is the best right now.
